Job Summary
Associate responsible for security master data setup and review, daily data quality checks, vendor referential data oversight, and collaboration with risk, investment teams, and compliance. Works on market data coordination, asset class knowledge, and practical data solutions; supports senior team members on ad hoc initiatives, data requests from traders and portfolio managers, root-cause data issue analysis, and continuous process improvement. Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance/economics/business, 1-3 years in a security master/security reference role (BlackRock Aladdin exposure preferred), strong Excel skills, SQL experience preferred, familiarity with Aladdin, Bloomberg, and State Street PAM is a plus, and a hybrid work setup in India (Bangalore, Pune, Delhi, or Hyderabad).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a security master / security reference role, preferably with BlackRock Aladdin direct experience
- 3-5 years in investment management, investment operations, or a related field
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence is preferred
- Advanced Excel skills; SQL experience is a plus
- Familiarity with investment platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, State Street PAM, and Bloomberg is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally to support practical and well-rounded solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with ownership and accountability
