Job Summary
Provide comprehensive preventative, diagnostic, and medical care for companion animals through wellness examinations, vaccinations, and individualized treatment plans. Educate clients on preventive healthcare options while building lasting relationships and collaborating with support team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to appropriate veterinary standards. Participate in mentorship and continuing professional development opportunities within a close-knit practice environment.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- Active veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice
Desired Qualifications
- DEA license preferred but not required
- USDA accreditation preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
