Job Summary
Conduct daily small animal general practice duties including routine exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures for canine, feline, and pocket pets. Manage exotics cases as a sole responsibility if preferred. Provide top-quality care while fostering strong, trusting relationships with owners in a collaborative, family-focused environment. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with every third Saturday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and one dedicated surgery morning per week. Join a close-knit team of two other DVMs at this Hampton, VA private practice, where structured mentorship is available for new graduates and experienced veterinarians alike.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia
- Passion for small animal medicine (canine, feline, and pocket pets)
