Job Summary
In-home, Associate Veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia services to pets in Milwaukee, WI and surrounding areas (also serving Annapolis, MD per posting hints). Mobile practice with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, average 3–4 un-rushed visits per day, and a base guaranteed salary with bonus opportunities. Emphasis on compassionate care, work-life balance, ongoing mentorship, and support from a dedicated team while practicing independently in clients’ homes.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Wisconsin (and Maryland as applicable)
- experience in veterinary hospice or end-of-life care preferred
- ability to perform euthanasia as part of hospice services
- excellent communication with pet families and clients
- ability to work independently in client homes
- flexible scheduling and willingness to travel to client locations
- strong mentorship and collaboration mindset
