Job Summary
In-home, mobile veterinary hospice role providing compassionate end-of-life and palliative care for pets; flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule with 3–4 unhurried appointments per day; independent practice within Lap of Love’s supportive network, including onboarding, mentoring, and a dedicated support center; opportunity to practice veterinary medicine in a home-visit setting and live a balanced life while delivering meaningful care to families in Newton and surrounding Warren County, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey
- Experience in veterinary hospice or in-home care preferred
- Strong communication and empathy for clients and patients
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Compassionate approach to euthanasia and end-of-life care
