Job Summary
Associate DVM provides high-quality veterinary care, client service, and team leadership in a fast-paced hospital. Responsibilities include maintaining medical charting, adhering to veterinary standards and WellHaven ethics, collaborating with the Principal Doctor on development plans, practicing medicine in compliance with state and federal laws, and training/mentoring support staff. Proficiencies in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and current medical practices, along with strong client communication and a commitment to ongoing professional development, are required. This is a part-time on-site position at our Bend, Oregon hospital with production-based compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
- State Veterinary Board License
- On the first day of employment, must be in good standing with the state(s) employed to work for WellHaven
