Job Summary
Weekend-only urgent care veterinarian for small animals in Omaha, NE. Triage and treat urgent and same-day cases, perform diagnostics and develop treatment plans, handle urgent medical and soft-tissue surgical cases as comfortable, communicate clearly with pet owners, work collaboratively with technicians and support staff, and maintain accurate medical records. Requires DVM or equivalent degree and Nebraska licensure (or eligibility); strong communication and teamwork skills; flexible weekend scheduling with no overnight shifts; CE and professional development support.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Nebraska
- Comfort with urgent care cases and efficient decision-making
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
