Job Summary
Deliver high-quality veterinary care across first opinion, medical, surgical, and emergency cases while managing both outpatients and inpatients with guidance from the specialist team. Conduct clinical examinations, diagnostics, and treatments using state-of-the-art facilities, and communicate effectively with clients and referring veterinarians. Participate in an after-hours roster shared within a supportive team environment. This role offers a salary package of $100,000 – $120,000 plus superannuation, with additional remuneration for after-hours work. Join a new, purpose-built facility focused on specialist-level equine healthcare on the Sunshine Coast.
Required Qualifications
- BVSc, DVM, or equivalent veterinary degree
- Eligible for full registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland
- Confident managing routine and emergency cases
Desired Qualifications
- Current Australian work rights
- At least 1–2 years' experience in equine practice (or a strong internship background)
- Special interests in dentistry, reproduction, sports medicine or general practice
- Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
