Job Summary
Associate Veterinarian III in the Phoenix Metro Area is a full-time clinical role focused on delivering high-quality veterinary care. You will empower the team to provide unparalleled client experiences, perform physical examinations and a range of diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures, explain findings and present treatment plans, educate clients on preventative care and vaccines, maintain accurate medical/surgical records, and stay current with evolving veterinary medicine through continuing education. You will support technicians and assistants, participate in compliance and safety procedures, and may travel as needed. The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM/VMD), active state license and DEA, 2-3 years of general medicine and surgery experience (residency/internship preferred), and strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD) is required
- Active State license in good standing, DEA license and other state credentials as required
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in general medicine and surgery; residency or internship trained
- 2 years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines preferred
- Multi-task with a high degree of integrity and accountability
- Outstanding listening and problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with other veterinary professionals in a team-oriented environment
- Is passionate about helping people and pets with compassion and excellent customer service focus
- Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced, self-starter environment
