Job Summary
Associate DVM ensures high-quality veterinary care and client service at Burnsville Animal Clinic. Lead/participate in anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry; maintain accurate medical records; collaborate with the Principal Doctor to develop plans; provide medical mentoring to staff; uphold hospital protocols and ethics; engage in community and marketing initiatives; deliver professional client communication and adapt to an fast-paced hospital environment; maintain safety standards per DEA/OSHA and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- State Veterinary Board License
- On first day of employment, must be in good standing with the state(s) employed to work for WellHaven
- Current USDA Accreditation is a plus
- This position requires on-site work at the hospital; remote work is not available
