Job Summary
Provide veterinary medical care for shelter animals, including diagnostics, surgeries, prescribing medications, and wellness exams; build and maintain client relationships; collaborate with a supportive staff; utilize on-site diagnostics and endoscopy; maintain high levels of patient care and staff teamwork; participate in ongoing learning and skill development in a state-of-the-art clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Being licensed or able to become licensed in the state of California
- Strong surgical skills to perform basic surgeries
- Ability to collaborate with a team
- Eager to learn new skills and capacity to implement in the day-to-day
- Willingness to think outside the box to provide adequate care to patients
