Job Summary
Associate Veterinarian with an avian and exotic focus to practice across a rich variety of non-traditional species (birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets, amphibians) in a multi-species hospital. You will perform exams, diagnostics, treatment plans, surgeries, and dentals with a collaborative team, mentorship from senior colleagues, and access to a specialist network; the role emphasizes time protection with four 10-hour days (Mon–Fri) and no weekends. ABVP board certification is preferred; NH licensure and a desire to grow in exotic medicine are valued. Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent license to practice veterinary medicine
- Active New Hampshire veterinary license (or eligibility)
- 5+ years of clinical experience with meaningful avian and exotic caseload
- ABVP board certification in Avian or Exotic Companion Mammal medicine preferred
- DEA license & USDA accreditation preferred, not required
