Job Summary
Valuations Associate/Manager responsible for valuation analysis across venture growth and real assets, preparing and reviewing Level 3 valuations per ASC 820, maintaining data for private company valuations, and supporting portfolio monitoring. Collaborates with investment teams to gather qualitative updates, prepares summary exhibits, and supports audit and investor relations for portfolio valuation-related queries. Utilizes iLevel and other analytics tools, with duties including data collection, back-testing of valuation policy, and ad-hoc projects to support portfolio and fund performance metrics. Requires strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills, and familiarity with valuation methodologies across growth equity, debt, real estate, and complex securities; experience with Capital IQ, Factset, and Bloomberg is a plus; CFA/ASA/CPA/CEIV credentials are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
- 4+ years of experience in valuations, Big 4 valuations/transaction services or valuations consulting preferred
- Experience with valuation of real estate, debt and complex securities a plus
- Proficiency with Capital IQ / Factset / Bloomberg; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- CFA / ASA / CPA / CEIV a plus
