Job Summary
Develop financial models and perform valuations across debt and equity investments, synthesizing data to support, challenge, and reconcile conclusions through back testing and stress testing. Identify and present trends relevant to the business while coordinating activities for the Antares Valuation Committee and managing third-party firm processes. Propose industry best practices and provide subject matter expertise for regulatory reviews, audits, and new business initiatives. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, 3-5 years of experience, and proficiency in discounted cash flow and comparable company methods. The position is based in the New York office with a base salary range of $105,000 - $130,000 and includes a discretionary annual bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- At least 2 years of direct experience utilizing valuation techniques and methodologies including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company, and precedent transactions, within a valuation, investment banking, commercial banking, or financial research firm
- Strong ability to analyze and evaluate data, formulate accurate conclusions, and clearly recommend solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial modeling including experience building models from scratch
- Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast‐paced environment with limited supervision
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check
- Must be willing to work from the New York office and travel as necessary
