Job Summary
Underwrite and service business at a policy and account level by applying risk-based analysis, making independent decisions on rating, discount eligibility, and risk selections within authority limits. Process policies in a timely and accurate manner while responding to agent and third-party inquiries via email and telephone. Identify submission requirement issues with agents to mitigate cancellations and correspond with state agencies to update insurance records for American National clients. Present recommendations for system improvements to streamline policy handling and research state-specific guidelines for agent inquiries. Submit timesheets accurately and work overtime as business needs dictate. This 100% in-office role supports Farm Family agents in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets, where the team applies Clearbrook's core values of integrity and collaboration to provide farm and ranch protection solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Close attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, in English, both written and verbal
- Minimum of one year of work experience
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to work on-site at a designated company office during standard business hours
- Must be available for overtime when required
