Job Summary
Associate Underwriter reviews policy information for crop insurance coverage to determine eligibility for programs, verifies rates and uses automated underwriting/processing systems to prepare quotations and information for agents and policyholders; maintains compliance with FCIC guidelines, deadlines, and company policies; communicates with brokers and internal/external customers, requests necessary documentation, and supports underwriting decisions; builds relationships with agents and stakeholders while staying current on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience.
