Job Summary
Underwrite new and renewal business, approve policy changes, and maintain workload controls up to the binding stage. Develop and maintain client relationships while marketing company products and services. Monitor accounts for compliance, conduct independent rating, and review inspection reports to verify represented conditions. Process policy servicing requests including endorsements, audits, and premium finance notices, then proof policies and make corrections as needed. Provide instruction to Underwriting and Technical Assistants. Maintain necessary licenses to produce business and commit to a minimum of three years. Requires three years of wholesale insurance experience, current state-specific license, and proficiency in Windows, Delphi, Word, DocuCorp, and Rackley ISO Rating Software.
Required Qualifications
- English language fluency
- 1st Shift availability
- College degree or appropriate insurance experience
- Three years of wholesale insurance experience or its equivalent
- Current state specific license
- Minimum three year commitment to the Program
- Ability to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies
- Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
- Ability to use company automation including Windows, Delphi, Word, DocuCorp, and Rackley ISO Rating Software
- Ability to develop, foster, and maintain an excellent working relationship with clients
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry
- Good written and verbal skills
- Ability to commit a minimum of three years to the Program
