Job Summary
The Associate Underwriter supports the Acera Property & Casualty Underwriting Team by processing new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations with accuracy. Duties include managing renewal lists, filing setup, reconciling accounting discrepancies, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, and tracking risk information for underwriters. Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with insurance management software is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational abilities, and adaptability are essential for this role.

Desired Qualifications
- Efficiency in the Microsoft office suite, especially Excel
- Experience with insurance management software, including Epic, Lineage, and PolicyWorks
- Insurance licensing (CIP or CAIB designation) or working towards is considered an asset
- 1-3 years insurance experience
- Previous administrative experience
