Job Summary

Manage a caseload of 25-30 matters involving catastrophic injury, bodily injury, and complex commercial litigation. Take depositions, attend hearings and mediations, and draft pleadings, discovery motions, and briefs. Monitor trials, evaluate records for appeal errors, and conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis. Review documents for production, analyze claims for coverage issues, and prepare case strategies for trial or mediation. Actively report to insurance carrier clients and develop arguments for appeals. Requires admission to the Illinois bar, 1-3 years of litigation experience, and out-of-state travel for trials.
