Job Summary

Provide transactions support for real estate acquisitions in wind and solar projects; prepare and review real estate documents including deeds, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, leases, easements, assignments, affidavits, curative instruments and subordination agreements; participate in negotiation and completion of various real estate agreements; coordinate real estate due diligence and closing; review title reports, land surveys, and title policies; coordinate resolution of title issues to ensure clear title ahead of closing; approve real estate documents for execution; manage external legal resources as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas or another U.S. state
  • Minimum of 0–3 years handling real property transactions
  • Experience with real property transactions in renewables preferred
  • Experience with real property transactions in energy, commercial real estate, title, or title insurance may be considered
  • Understanding of title reports and land surveys
  • Ability to draft real property contracts and navigate real property contracts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Comfortable in a high-pressure environment
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Team-oriented and able to prioritize transactions
