Associate Transactions Counsel

Job Summary
Provide transactions support for real estate acquisitions in wind and solar projects; prepare and review real estate documents including deeds, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, leases, easements, assignments, affidavits, curative instruments and subordination agreements; participate in negotiation and completion of various real estate agreements; coordinate real estate due diligence and closing; review title reports, land surveys, and title policies; coordinate resolution of title issues to ensure clear title ahead of closing; approve real estate documents for execution; manage external legal resources as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school
- Licensed to practice law in Texas or another U.S. state
- Minimum of 0–3 years handling real property transactions
- Experience with real property transactions in renewables preferred
- Experience with real property transactions in energy, commercial real estate, title, or title insurance may be considered
- Understanding of title reports and land surveys
- Ability to draft real property contracts and navigate real property contracts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable in a high-pressure environment
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Team-oriented and able to prioritize transactions
