Associate Transactions Counsel

Job Summary
Provide transactions support for real estate acquisitions in wind and solar projects, including drafting and reviewing deeds, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, leases, easements, assignments, affidavits, curative instruments and subordination agreements. Participate in negotiations with landowners and other counterparties; coordinate real estate due diligence and closing activities; review title reports, land surveys, and title policies; resolve title issues with the land team to ensure clear title ahead of closing; approve real estate documents for execution; manage external legal resources as needed; travel as required. Requires Juris Doctorate and active bar license in Texas (or another state), 0–3 years of experience in real property transactions, strong drafting/communication skills, and ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school
- Licensed to practice law in Texas, or another U.S. state
- Minimum 0–3 years handling real property transactions
- Experience with real property transactions in renewables preferred
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
