Job Summary
Trade Compliance Associate Analyst to manage and monitor compliant cross-border transactions, support Dexcom’s global supply chain, and collaborate with inter-departmental experts to ensure accuracy and integrity of international trade declarations. Learn and apply elements such as the Harmonized Tariff System, Country of Origin determination, and Incoterms, and contribute to process mapping, data extraction, analysis, and reporting. Support the trade compliance team and logistics function in inter-departmental projects, help drive scalable solutions to minimize risk and maximize reach, assist in developing and deploying training, and monitor and audit performance within the supply chain. Responsibilities include execution and oversight of Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) operations, preparing monthly/annual statements (e.g., M1, M2, Sub-Con, VAA), maintaining documentation for LMW activities (inventory, customs records), managing customs declarations and classifications, and liaising with customs authorities, freight forwarders, MIDA and related agencies. Requires understanding of international trade laws, Incoterms, import/export controls, sanctions/embargoes, risk identification, and precise documentation review (tariff codes, HS codes, licensing).
