Associate Therapist I

Job Summary
Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions while assessing client needs and developing treatment plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, external partners, and families to coordinate care from admission through discharge. Complete session notes, contact logs, and discharge plans in compliance with state guidelines and payor requirements. Conduct crisis interventions and maintain therapeutic boundaries using evidence-based interventions and culturally competent care. Maintain positive relationships with clients and adhere to all facility policies, ethics, and mandatory training schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology
- Temporary license with State of TN
- Be in supervision
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with clients with primary mental health diagnosis
- TB test clearance
- Criminal background check clearance
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of start date
