Job Summary
Associate Therapist provides faith-integrated counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups under clinical supervision. Maintains a minimum active caseload of 15 clients per week, develops treatment plans aligned with case conceptualization and client goals, completes timely clinical documentation (initial evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries), and terminates cases appropriately. Collaborates with supervisors, therapists, physicians, and other professionals; adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements; integrates Christian principles and Gospel into counseling in an ethical, respectful, and clinically appropriate manner; works at least two days per week and participates in staff meetings and supervision. Requires current AMFT or APCC in good standing with the BBS, and commitment to the center’s Christian mission; role is part-time and non-exempt. Ensure client retention goals and professional practice standards are maintained.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Associate (AMFT, or APCC) in good standing with the BBS
- Commitment to Christian faith and the mission of Bayside Counseling Center
- Ability to integrate Christian principles and the Gospel into the counseling process when clinically appropriate
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 15 clients per week
- Work a minimum of two days per week
- Ability to maintain an average session fee consistent with center expectations
