Job Summary
Facilitate multiple therapy groups weekly using DBT, CBT, ACT, and trauma-focused modalities while providing individual and family sessions. Spend time in the milieu building rapport, modeling interventions, and shaping treatment in real time. Conduct biopsysychosocial and risk assessments to inform individualized treatment plans and maintain timely clinical documentation. Collaborate in daily and weekly multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in a rotating on-call schedule for crisis support. This full-time, in-person role includes one weekend day and offers weekly individual supervision, diverse caseloads, and a pay increase upon full licensure within a mission-driven culture focused on teen and family healing.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or MFT
- Active California associate license: AMFT, ASW, or APCC
- Experience facilitating therapeutic groups (practicum, internship, or post-grad settings accepted)
- Comfort with adolescents in mental health, substance use, or high-acuity settings
- Grounding in trauma-informed care and at least one evidence-based modality (DBT, CBT, ACT, etc.)
- Schedule includes one weekend day (Sunday)
- All positions require a LiveScan background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in residential, inpatient, or intensive outpatient (IOP/PHP) settings
- Training in EMDR, motivational interviewing, or relapse prevention
- Exposure to co-occurring disorders or family systems work
