Job Summary
Drive the implementation of modern test automation frameworks and tools, overseeing test architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability. Design and execute automated tests on software revisions while interpreting requirements from manual test cases and specification documents. Liaise with manual testers, business analysts, and development teams to understand needs, provide test effort estimates, and raise bugs from discovery through resolution. Configure testing environments and databases, collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD integration, and prepare execution reports for stakeholders. Requires 8 to 12 years of experience in C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript with Selenium and Playwright.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with C# / Java Script/ Type Script
- 8 to 12 years of experience in Test Automation using various tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Mocha etc
- Experience developing and executing automated test cases for User Interfaces
- Knowledge of software development in a web environment
- Clear and concise communicator
- Able to prioritise between several tasks at any one time
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found
- Highly organized, detail oriented, extremely responsive
- Be comfortable discussing technical aspects of projects with other testers, developers & business owners
- You'll have ISTQB/ISEB Foundation certifications or equivalent certifications or be working towards achieving them
- Experience using virtual machines (Hyper V / Microsoft Azure)
- Experience coordinating with external/Offshore QA resources
- Has worked with UK clients and team (Preferred)
- Has working experience of the onshore – offshore model
- Has experience of commercial awareness in aspects such as revenue recognition and margin management
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Azure DevOps
- Experience using Selenium and Playwright or equivalent tools
- Usage of latest AI tools
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing User Interfaces and databases
