Job Summary
Execute manual and automated test cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements, supporting the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks using Playwright, Python, and Typescript. Create and maintain test cases, scripts, and data using data-driven and behaviour-driven approaches while participating in end-to-end testing across systems. Analyse test results, identify defects, and support troubleshooting, collaborating with developers and product teams to define testable requirements and validate data pipelines using SQL. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and frameworks, ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards within Agile ceremonies.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation) in an Agile environment
- Exposure to automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Python, Typescript or similar)
- Understanding of test processes including test design, execution, and defect management
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases for data validation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. GitHub, AWS CodePipeline)
- Experience working with Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Exposure to data-driven or behaviour-driven testing approaches (DDT/BDD)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
