Job Summary
Assist with sales promotion and service of Company products within the assigned Washington DC territory. Help develop and maintain key physician and hospital contacts to achieve corporate objectives while acquiring product, clinical, and procedural knowledge. Manage territory through sales activities including analysis, prospecting, growing existing accounts, and tracking trials/evaluations. Report weekly sales activities via call reports and submit expense reports as necessary. Maintain specific account knowledge regarding decision makers, department hierarchies, and competitor products. Provide ongoing information to sales management and marketing on competitive activities and product introductions. This role requires working in a team-oriented environment with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Level of Degree in related field of study
- 0 – 3 years of demonstrated experience in Sales, Marketing or Customer Service support
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 15 lbs
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to regularly sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent work related experience acceptable in lieu of degree
- Experience in a healthcare environment
