Associate Territory Manager - Cardiovascular Venous - Washington DC

Job Summary

Assist with sales promotion and service of Cardiovascular Venous products within the assigned Washington DC territory. Help develop and maintain key physician and hospital contacts to achieve corporate objectives while acquiring product, clinical, and procedural knowledge. Manage assigned territory through sales activities including territory analysis, prospecting, growing and maintaining existing accounts, and conducting trials or evaluations. Report all weekly sales activities via call reports and submit expense reports when necessary. Maintain specific account knowledge regarding decision makers, department hierarchies, and competitor products. This role requires some travel up to 75% of the time and involves working safely in a standard office environment while adhering to OSHA regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Level of Degree in related field of study
  • 0 – 3 years of demonstrated experience in Sales, Marketing or Customer Service support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in a healthcare environment
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 15 lbs
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to regularly sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Some travel up to 75% of the time

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor Level of Degree in related field of study strongly preferred
  • Equivalent work related experience acceptable in lieu of degree
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
