Job Summary
Drive sales of Medtronic's Neurovascular products and services within an assigned geographic area to meet or exceed targets. Develop and strengthen relationships with stakeholders including distributors, surgeons, nurses, and key opinion leaders. Execute company sales strategy, manage the sales process, and identify selling opportunities to increase sales in respective accounts. Provide clinical and technical support during cases, train medical personnel on product use, and respond to inquiries and complaints. Project a professional company image at medical symposia and inform clinicians of patient treatment options. This field-based role requires a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance, with travel comprising approximately 50% of the time within the territory and potential overnight trips. The position involves on-call nights and weekends 20-40% of the time. Candidates must reside within the Long Island, NY territory.
Required Qualifications

- Active vehicle insurance policy
- Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years experience
- Associate's Degree AND 2+ years experience
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience
- Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- 3 years in medical or hospital service-line function
- 1 year of Medtronic RTG (Pain, Brain or Spine) Clinical Specialist or Sales Rep
- 2 years of prior clinical or medical sales experience
- Demonstrated experience in properly functioning within an office or hospital based operating room or cath lab setting
- Clinical experience in the interventional suite, hospital environment, or emergency medical response
- Experience in medical device sales, focused heavily on interventional stroke procedures
- Recognized sales professional with a proven track record of results in medical sales and training
- Experience selling medical devices in Neurovascular space
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
- Must be available for on-call nights and weekends 20-40% of the time
- Must be able to travel outside the territory
- Must be able to drive overnight travel
- Must be independently mobile
- Must be able to interact with a computer
- Must be able to communicate with peers and co-workers
