Job Summary
Review technology transfer documents and batch records to provide technical analysis for process introductions. Identify capability gaps, recommend solutions, and evaluate data during development and scale-up to optimize assigned projects. Support execution of toxicological, clinical, and manufacturing validations with production teams while maintaining compliant R&D and pilot-scale spaces. Collaborate with cross-functional leads on multidisciplinary project teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and apply Quality-By-Design approaches to improve drug formulations. Write comprehensive technical reports, support document revisions, and participate in investigations and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- B.S in Pharmaceutical Sciences (or equivalent)
- M.S in Pharmaceutical Sciences (or equivalent)
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (or equivalent)
- 1-2 year of experience (for B.S. holders)
- <1 year of experience (for M.S. or PhD holders)
- Knowledge of general pharmaceutical manufacturing unit operations
- Knowledge of general pharmaceutical processing technologies such as mixers, transfer pumps, temperature control devices
- Knowledge of general process requirements for sterile operations including: compounding, sterile filtration, aseptic formulation, sterile filling for vials, pre-filled syringes and flexible IV bags
- Software: Minitab® (or equivalent), Microsoft Office® etc., Microsoft Visio
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
