Job Summary
Role focuses on promoting a safety culture within the plant, supporting safety procedures and training, and performing quality and product-safety related duties. Responsibilities include maintaining item master accuracy for sales orders, conducting QC checks, supporting sample quality reviews and audits, participating in process improvements and KPI reviews, supporting raw material investigations and substitutions, developing film-line understanding and resin-property knowledge, and providing lab testing, data analysis, and ERP item setup in support of product life cycle and cost-avoidance projects. Requires a BS in Engineering (Chemical/Packaging/Plastics/Industrial or Chemistry/Polymer Science), strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a high-demand, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering: Chemical, Packaging, Plastics or Industrial with emphasis on Plastics/Polymers or BS in Chemistry/Polymer Science with appropriate emphasis
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and decision making
- Strong work ethic and ethics; effective written and verbal communication; able to work with personnel at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment
