Job Summary

Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery and work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges. Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions and contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions by applying advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance. Lead a high-performing team in Brisbane's QLD Transport Team, shaping the technical direction of roads and highways projects while building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Min. 15 years of experience in engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
  • proven track record in roads and highways projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a high-performing team
  • A forward-thinking approach, with a passion for sustainable, innovative engineering solutions
  • A deep understanding of the transport sector
  • ability to influence and shape the technical direction of projects
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
