Job Summary
Hands-on technical designer responsible for translating concepts into production-ready garments by building detailed tech packs and leading cross-functional fit sessions. Collaborates with overseas vendors and factories to protect quality fit and construction, manages the product cycle from sketch through pre-production to final bulk, and leverages customer insights to continually improve fit and design intent.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in textile/fashion/apparel design or related experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Technical Design
- Extensive knowledge of apparel fit, construction and fabric properties
- Extensive production experience with multiple factories
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and 2D digital pattern making
- Experience with 3D is a plus
- Strong pattern making, draping and grading skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative cross-functional teamwork
