Job Summary
Assist in providing instruction and ongoing assessment in a grant-based school readiness program; work as a teaching partner with the GSRP Lead Teacher; help plan, implement, and monitor curriculum; engage with children; conduct home visits and parent-teacher conferences; record assessment observations; follow licensing guidelines; establish a diverse and inclusive classroom that supports all children.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree (AA) in early childhood education or child development
- A valid preschool level CDA credential
- Prior experience in an early childhood education setting preferred
- Trained in HighScope curriculum and COR Advantage
- Hold or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must be able to obtain Michigan Child Care Licensing Background Check clearance, including fingerprints
