Job Summary
Associate Teacher supports the Head Teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons across core academic subjects, implements differentiated instruction and tracks student progress toward individualized learning goals, collaborates with teaching teams and school leadership to ensure aligned and effective instruction, applies behavior management strategies and maintains a structured, inclusive classroom environment, and communicates with families to contribute to student reports, updates, and conferences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with families
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to stay organized, adaptable, and consistent in a dynamic classroom environment
