Job Summary
The Associate Teacher will observe and learn from Lead Teachers, co-teach with them, provide in-house substitute teaching, and support tutoring, grading, and individual or small group instruction. Responsibilities include adapting rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum, developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, maintaining communication with parents, and fostering a positive learning environment. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and valid NYS Teaching Licensure or a willingness to pursue certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University
- Valid NYS Teaching Licensure or willingness to pursue state certification

- Experience as a school educator, preferably in a charter or public school environment
- Prior experience working in schools and urban communities
