Job Summary
Prepare, review, and file tax returns for globally mobile employees; offer specialized tax planning and guidance on withholding responsibilities and social security contributions; collaborate with finance and HR to ensure accurate payroll tax reporting; provide tax advice on assignment structures, leveraging tax treaties, and identifying tax-efficient benefits; educate employees on tax responsibilities and implications of international assignments; advise on tax equalization and protection policies; analyze compensation and payroll data to calculate tax liabilities; prepare supporting applications and documentation to optimize employees’ tax positions; maintain detailed tax records and stay informed on international tax developments; compile and present tax reports to management, auditors, and tax authorities; collaborate with Tax SMEs for integrated solutions; conduct country-specific tax research; serve as primary contact for clients with employees on business trips; manage engagement finances including billings and KPIs; identify cross-selling opportunities to expand the client portfolio; analyze market trends to identify growth areas.
Required Qualifications
- Any graduate or post graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- 0-3 years of experience in global mobility
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns for globally mobile employees is preferred
- Familiarity with tax treaties, social security, payroll taxes and assignment structures would be a plus
