Job Summary
Conduct hands-on technical investigations into air traffic control and sensor processing hardware and software using technical documentation and senior engineer guidance. Support new feature development and change requests from internal product maintenance and international customers while creating and maintaining product specifications and technical documentation. Assist field teams during deployment of customer systems and learn sensor data processing, analog and digital hardware, computer networking, and embedded & server software systems. International projects may require evening hours for customer meetings, and domestic and international travel of less than 5% may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in safety critical or mission critical industries (e.g., aerospace, defense/military, medical, transportation, nuclear, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form productive relationships in a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
