Job Summary
Associate System Administrator role focused on delivering basic IT support and incident resolution within an AI-first global tech environment. Responsibilities include answering common questions, communicating status of reported issues, selecting standard approaches to resolve incidents, maintaining task status and impediments, creating and maintaining Jira hierarchies, working under supervision, participating in technical discussions, updating inventories and standard records, executing routine procedures under guidance, and adhering to information security policies. Candidate should have practical knowledge of Windows, Linux, or OSX, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls), OpenVPN configuration on endpoints, hardware/software troubleshooting, familiarity with enterprise security policies and antivirus tools, experience with Endpoint Central or similar IT management tools, and strong initiative to continuously improve technical skills. Required Qualifications
- Basic practical knowledge (Windows, Linux, or OSX) focused on deployment with mandatory agent software, endpoint configurations, updates, and the use of command-line utilities and event/log viewers for basic troubleshooting
- Understanding the network layer model (TCP/IP), types of DNS records (recursive resolution, caches, and manual queries), basic principles and operation of DHCP and Firewalls, as well as the use of basic diagnostic tools such as Ping and Traceroute
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot basic OpenVPN connections directly on the endpoints
- Ability to identify and diagnose typical problems in notebook components and office peripherals (such as printers), distinguishing between physical (hardware) and logical (software) problems
- Practical knowledge of the main systems that end users routinely access, from the user's perspective, and the ability to quickly learn operational patterns and guidelines
- Knowledge of and compliance with Exadel's corporate security policies, including the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of corporate antivirus software on endpoints
- Operation and troubleshooting of centralized management agents (Endpoint Central), as well as hardware and software tracking of workstations
- To demonstrate initiative and consistent effort to improve the level of their technical skills and general qualifications
- English level: Upper-Intermediate
