Job Summary
Associate within Westpac’s Corporate & Structured Finance Syndications and Agency function, supporting the execution of syndicated and underwritten loan transactions across the full deal lifecycle. Assists in managing agency responsibilities as Facility Agent and Security Trustee, including covenant compliance, reporting, consent requests, and communications; collaborates with lenders, legal advisors, and corporate clients; builds relationships with corporate and institutional customers; contributes to materials and insights to support client engagement and deal execution; helps manage workflows and timelines to deliver high-quality transactions. Based in Britomart, Auckland, New Zealand.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in banking, finance, or a related front-office environment
- Understanding (or strong interest) in corporate debt, loan structures and financial markets
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to learning
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
