Job Summary
Monitor end-to-end supply chain flow from raw material and finished product inventory, collaborating with Buyers, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure timely manufacturing execution. Place purchase requisitions for APIs, excipients, packaging materials, and process components while managing inventory controls to maintain accuracy. Identify capacity shortfalls through downstream demand collaboration or upstream supplier schedule adjustments, and proactively mitigate product supply issues. Meet regularly with procurement and production planners to discuss inventory status and extended timeframes, advising management on current and future product supply. Evaluate existing processes for improvement and ensure product continuity for assigned portfolios.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Management, Economics, Business/Administration
- 1 - 2 years' experience, preferably in purchasing, planning, or logistics
- Experience in key supply chain functions including material requirements, purchasing, manufacturing, and inventory
- Ability to use MS Excel, Microsoft Access, or other similar database software
- Ability to identify and evaluate key supply issues with approved vendors for and develop appropriate alternative solutions to meet production goals
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
- Must be available for travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications
- An understanding of SAP
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of the whole supply chain
- Ability to use MS Excel, Microsoft Access, or other similar database software, including running pre-formatted reports preferred
- Knowledge of SAP & Kinaxis is preferred
