Associate Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process by reviewing nonconforming material, coordinating supplier responses, and ensuring timely closure of issues. Work with suppliers to resolve missing, incomplete, or incorrect documentation, including certifications, inspection reports, and compliance records. Assist with the initiation, tracking, and follow-up of Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) while monitoring and maintaining supplier performance metrics. Support supplier assessments and audits, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related issues. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supplier quality and business processes. This early-career opportunity requires a DOD security clearance and offers 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of experience
- Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspections
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- 10% Travel
- Must be able to obtain a DOD security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain
- Background in DoD sub-tier supplier management
- Experience in highly regulated industries (aerospace, defense, medical device, or similar)
- Experience with ERP or quality systems
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar)
