Job Summary
Exempt executive cabinet-level leadership overseeing a group of schools in the Buffalo Public School District to drive improved student academic, safety, and emotional outcomes. Responsible for supervising and providing data-driven guidance to ~15 building leaders, evaluating principals, overseeing school improvement activities, advising on safety and wellness, and supporting district turnaround efforts; collaborates with cabinet members to organize district-wide strategy, monitor implementation, design program enhancements, manage budget and resources, and communicate with stakeholders to advance district-wide goals.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- New York State School District Administrator (SDA) certificate or School District Leader (SDL) certificate at time of application
- minimum of eight (8) years of combined certificated teaching and supervisory experience, with minimum five (5) years at supervisory level
