Job Summary
Structured Settlements Underwriter to underwrite, analyze, and close structured settlement payment transfer investment opportunities. Responsibilities include evaluating risk on each file, presenting to management as necessary, coordinating with counsel for additional risk assessment, managing day-to-day relationships with internal and external parties, preparing memorandums related to structured settlement payment transfers, and handling ad hoc projects as required.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years’ experience in underwriting structured settlement payment transfers
- Excellent research and decision-making skills, and superior attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and prioritize competing demands
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong team player who operates well within an entrepreneurial environment
