Job Summary
Associate Structural Engineer at WSP focused on designing and analyzing structural systems for building cores, shells, and foundations using steel, concrete, and masonry. You’ll prepare structural drawings, specifications, and calculations in line with IBC/ACI/AISC, coordinate with architects and other disciplines to integrate structural design into facility plans, and provide construction-phase support by reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs. The role emphasizes BIM with Autodesk Revit Structural and collaboration across project teams, owners, and construction professionals, with a high degree of ownership and latitude in decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in structural design for facilities or industrial projects
- Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software, including STAAD, RAM and Risa, as well as AutoCAD, and Revit
- Knowledge of building codes and standards; strong technical writing and coordination skills
