Job Summary
Conduct financial analysis, business process reviews, research, and modeling to support high-profile initiatives for MTA executive leadership. Execute quantitative and analytical components for interdepartmental and interagency working groups, including benchmarking operational functions and evaluating historical cost trends. Manage project timelines to inform critical decisions impacting MTA's cost structure and productivity, with primary responsibility for the analytical sides of projects such as OMNY. This role supports strategies to improve efficiency, service quality, and overall performance across the MTA network. Candidates will communicate complex quantitative concepts to internal stakeholders and work in team settings to influence decision-makers.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
- demonstrated quantitative skills
- proficiency in Excel modeling
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- talent to communicate complex quantitative concepts clearly and succinctly to internal stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills
- established history of working on projects requiring group consensus and cooperation among people with no direct reporting relationships
