Associate Strategic Healthcare Planner (Health and Life Sciences)

Job Summary
Lead the delivery and performance of healthcare strategy and planning advisory services, managing projects and leading teams on major commissions. Account manage client portfolios to support new business development, including preparing tender responses and delivering presentations. Execute technical inputs such as strategic analysis, demand modelling, and clinical briefings while fostering multi-disciplinary collaboration. Contribute to annual business targets and develop improved planning methods and tools. Manage project budgets, fees invoicing, and delivery inputs to ensure quality service delivery. Support the training of new team members and establish approaches to investigate key lines of enquiry.
Required Qualifications
- extensive knowledge of health services and or health facilities
- gained either through clinical practice, through working in other roles within health providers or as an architect or other professional contributing to healthcare projects
- undertake technical inputs as required for individual projects including - but not limited to - strategic analysis, demand and capacity modelling, models of care, clinical and functional briefing, schedules of accommodation and design reviews
- support the training of new members of the team
- support the delivery of a wide range of projects related clinical and operational strategy development, clinical and operational health services and facilities planning
- employing tools and methods developed by Lexica and developing improved methods and tools
- act as the client relationship manager for individual clients
- account manage issues for existing and new clients within a portfolio
- account manage a portfolio of clients
- support expansion of our client base
- lead clinical stakeholder engagement sessions
- manage engagement programmes
- write reports, briefs, and contributions to business cases
- peer review texts by colleagues for accuracy and quality
- employ models to assess health service needs and demands at various levels and scales
- help clients investigate the needs of their services
- develop solutions
- review and assess options
- participate in the development of service models
- ensure quality assurance
- ensure that proposals for investment take into account productivity gains
- facilitate transformation in service delivery
- keep abreast of trends and research healthcare planning topics
- establish the approach to investigating key lines of enquiry arising out of projects
- contribute to thought leadership in our field
- contribute to projects in all parts of the globe
- developing and understanding of local cultures and practices
- help share best practice observations across regions
- deliver healthcare strategy and planning solutions tailored to local needs, practices and priorities
- foster multi-disciplinary collaboration across the HS+P team and beyond
- help your colleagues to manage the team's workload
- developing processes and procedures to provide a quality assured service for clients

Desired Qualifications
- Strategic healthcare planners with a clinical or design background
- healthcare planning experience
- preferably including application of Hospital 2.0 guidance
