Job Summary
Associate, Strategic Finance supporting FP&A, financial planning, and business insights for Oscar Health. You will collaborate with Finance leaders on business reviews, full-year projections, and strategic partnerships, create new reporting and analytical insights to understand spending patterns and projections, and present findings to multiple leadership levels. The role reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance & Corporate Development and is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office per week; Thursdays in-office for team meetings). Responsibilities include data-driven pricing recommendations, building models/tools for strategic insights, collaborating with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design and Sales teams to develop portfolio strategy, researching profitability tradeoffs and market trends, sourcing and analyzing data for strategic programs, and monitoring ACA landscape metrics for leadership to inform tactics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of finance experience including experience in Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance or Financial Services
- 2+ years of experience with Google products - Sheets, Docs and Slides or Microsoft products
- 2+ years of experience working with C-level executives
