Job Summary
Associate Strategic Client Executive (Associate SCE) will serve as the primary point of contact for Zelis for an assigned book of business, driving growth by achieving annual revenue targets, ensuring client retention, and expanding products and services. Responsibilities include building client relationships, managing revenue targets and forecasts, renewals and contract negotiations, risk identification and mitigation, product knowledge and optimization, identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, conducting client business reviews and account plans, and nurturing client satisfaction to create loyal promoters. Collaboration with Sales, Operations, Product, Services, and Marketing is required to deliver value, with a focus on client outcomes, reporting, and executive communication. Travel 30-40% domestically; Location: Remote. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 5+ years in client management within the payer/healthcare space; base salary range $95,000 - $120,650 with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years in client management role with experience in the Payer space
- Experience in healthcare including insurance companies, or working with cost management, electronic payments, and/or healthcare communications solutions
- Demonstrated success in revenue management and increased utilization within an assigned book of business of mid to large enterprise clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation, public speaking, and meeting management capabilities
- Ability to tailor messages to audiences
- Proven collaboration with key business partners: Sales, Operations, Product, Services, and Marketing
- Ability to anticipate future trends and incorporate them into business review planning
- Synthesizes complex issues and communicates clearly with both clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to communicate and interact formally and informally with VPs and Executive Leadership; demonstrates enterprise thinking with ability to influence; proven ability to influence across a matrix and with leadership
- Experience leveraging data and reporting to accurately identify client and industry trends; able to synthesize data into compelling narratives
- Demonstrates sense of urgency and ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong listening and comprehension skills, ability to understand and address client concerns, feedback, and appropriately manage discussions with clients
- Travel estimated 30-40% (primarily) domestic
